And I know exactly how frustrating, stressful, and lonely it can feel to live in a body that doesn’t feel quite right.
My love for functional nutrition was set alight when my 2-year-old niece was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. I was absolutely intrigued by how food had such a direct impact on her: one minute sugar was totally off-limits, the next minute she was force fed sugar during a seizure to bring her back to life.
I needed to know more about this fascinating and powerful juxtaposition when it came to food.
And so began my journey and career into Functional Medicine and Nutrition.
Fast forward a few years, and I was hit with my own health struggles with energy levels so low that I couldn’t get out of bed, eventually leading to a diagnosis of Hashimotos, Hypothyroidism and PTSD… this news knocked me for six. Yet what first seemed to be a devastating blow not only to my health but to my career, actually turned out to be a gift…
Because now I have learnt to manage my autoimmune condition, have regained energy like I never had before, I am able to understand, through my own direct experience, the fundamental importance of a personalised and holistic approach to your health and wellbeing.
What I learnt when I combined my own healing
journey with my nutritional studies changed everything for me: There is no one-size-fits-all approach to nutrition.
Following generic nutrition advice can get you so far on your journey to healing, but if you truly want to fix those niggles, conquer your chronic conditions, raise your energy levels through the roof and finally feel your best and confident in your own body, it’s time to get personal.

As a result of my own personal health journey and my extensive work as a Nutritional Therapist combined with my trauma informed coaching and NLP training I’ve developed a unique and highly effective approach to nutritional therapy and coaching based on these 5 principles:

We live in a world dominated by fad diets, sensationalised food headlines that tell us something is good for us one day and harming us the next.
